Welcome to our Farms
We are a member of the Welsh Black Cattle Society, and breed Pedigree Welsh Black cattle on our farms. Each animal has a Welsh Black Pedigree Certificate which allows us to trace back through the animal's family tree of Pedigrees.
We believe that if we look after our animals we can supply you with meat of the highest possible quality. We have a total of around 1000 breeding ewes and 100 cattle grazing on 900 acres and are thus able to ensure that we can provide a constant supply of meat to our shop. Our farmland around Lampeter provides excellent grazing which is reflected in the flavour and quality of our meat.
We are part of the Tir Gofal scheme (Care of the Land) which commits us to the highest possible environmental standards and we are currently in the conversion process whereby we will be able to produce on a fully Organic basis by 2009.
